As a former Felony Chief Prosecutor for the Webb and Zapata County, I will work very closely with law enforcement and prosecuting entities to lower our crime rate, improve security and work on prevention programs, we must work with Neighborhood Watch Associations to be proactive in reporting suspicious activities.

I have experience working in collaboration with local, state and federal law enforcement entities as a team to protect our City.  We must inform our constituents of legitimate safety threats, crime patterns, fraud schemes and be ready for emergencies.

Substance Abuse is severely affecting our city and reflecting on the crime rate and recidivism. We need to work in collaboration with the County and other entities in prevention, education, treatment and intervention programs.

How do we become pro-active? By promoting sports, education and cultural arts in our community.  At risk children often fall prey to gangs and drugs when they have nothing better to do with their time and they are longing for a group to belong to.

As the famous saying states: “It takes a whole village to educate a child”, and together we can collaborate and improve our community.
